CLEETS Fall School 2026

Objective:
As road transportation evolves, discussions about its future must extend beyond emissions and policy. In an increasingly connected world, where vehicles rely on sophisticated digital systems and embedded technologies, cybersecurity and IT infrastructure have become critical considerations. This Fall School introduces undergraduate and graduate students, as well as postdoctoral researchers, to the field of cybersecurity in the context of future transportation systems. Through interactive tools and hands-on activities, participants will explore how academic institutions and industry partners are working together to address cybersecurity challenges and shape the future of secure, connected mobility. This program is designed for interdisciplinary students and researchers from fields including atmospheric science, engineering, urban planning, public policy, data science, and environmental studies.

The CLEETS Fall School introduces students to how different policies and interventions in transport cybersecurity and infrastructure can influence outcomes for people and communities.
The Fall School examines real-world examples of policy design and implementation, highlighting how these choices shape community well-being. It aims to provide students with both insights and the “missing pieces” often needed when considering an undergraduate or graduate research project with the CLEETS team.
Through this School, students are better positioned to contribute to an action-focused, global dialogue on sustainable and equitable transport.
